G1 The former organ was built by Mutin Cavaillé-Coll in 1907, partially enlarged by Beuchet in 1971, and later moved to Saint-Georges Church when the present instrument was built. The current organ was designed in 1994 by Daniel Birouste, in collaboration with two contemporary composers, with the aim of creating a specification and voicing suited to the musical needs of the time.
The parish of Saint-Pierre de Chaillot dates back to the 11th century. The present chirch, designed by Emile Bois ion a romanesque/byzantine style, was completed in 1938.
